a) Auto scan mode
The Smart+ WiFi Outdoor Terminal can only be added with the manual mode. Therefore, you need to click the link at the bottom of the screen which says, “
Click here to switch to manual adding process”, if you are already in auto scanning mode. This can also be done with the “Add manually” button shown on the “info” button.
b) Manual adding mode
Select the device category tab “WiFi devices”. Then select the Category “Outdoor Terminal + WiFi Repeater”. In the next screen, select the Wi-Fi router with 2.4 GHz Network and enter the corresponding password with which you want to connect your devices. If you have multiple Wi-Fi routers at your home, then you can select the Wi-Fi from “Change WiFi Network” as well. Now power on the device. After the device is switched on, it takes around 15 seconds until the WiFi repeater indicator and the reset button in front of the outdoor terminal are continuously turned on. This indicates the booting process. After around 1 minute, the green signal LED of the reset button flashes slowly to show that the outdoor terminal is now ready to be connected to the network. Back in the app you can click “yes” in the screen which asks “Is the device flashing”? If the device is not flashing, then you need to hold the reset button for 5 seconds (see instruction manual).
In the next step tap on "Connect with hotspot", the WiFi of the phone must be connected to the hotspot (LDVSMART+-Repeater) of the outdoor terminal via the WiFi settings of the smartphone. The password of the terminal can be found on the bottom of the device or on the frontpage of the user instruction. After successfully connecting to hotspot, you need to go back to app and confirm with the “yes” button that the connection was successful. In the next step, a search will be carried out for that device. After the device is added successfully, then a message will be displayed that “The device is successfully added”.
c) Product functions
